Aluminum: Lightweight and virtually indestructible
Aluminum does not rust and is very resistant to humidity, making it a reliable choice for outdoor furniture that stays outside all year round, like our Paradisïo set. It requires very little maintenance: cleaning with soapy water is usually sufficient.
Wood: Elegant but more demanding
Wood, especially the eucalyptus used on our Mykonos deck chair, brings a natural warmth that no synthetic material truly replaces. In return, it requires annual maintenance (oil or wood preserver) to retain its color and prevent it from graying prematurely due to sun and rain.
Outdoor cushions and textiles
For cushions, opt for removable covers and fabrics described as water-repellent or UV-treated. An untreated textile left outdoors quickly loses its color and can mold if moisture stagnates — remember to bring them in or protect them in case of prolonged rain.

- Store or cover furniture during winter if possible, even for resistant materials;
- Avoid leaving water stagnant on surfaces (tabletops, seats);
